William R. "Bill" Loy, 71, of Carlisle, died on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Hershey Medical Center.  He was born on May 1, 1952, in Carlisle and was a son of the late William L. Loy and Jean Elizabeth (Fry) Loy Musser.

Bill graduated from Northern High School with the class of 1970.  He served in the US Army from 1978 to 1982.  He worked many years as a warranty clerk with Sutliff Chevrolet in Harrisburg and retired after spending several years at the Army War College Post Exchange as a courier.  Bill enjoyed auto racing, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sandra Kay (Kline) Loy, one son Andrew P. (companion Jessica Corsnitz of New Bloomfield), two sisters, Geraldine Anderson of Spring Hill, FL and Rebecca Lininger of  Ontario, Canada, and one brother Benjamin Musser of Liverpool PA, one grandson Olyver Loy, one step grandson Brysyn Corsnitz, one step granddaughter Sydny Corsnitz, several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Ozzy.
