Obituary

Wayne E. Raudabaugh, 86, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at his home. He was born on Saturday, August 28, 1926, in Carlisle, a son of the late Ray and Pearl (Hair) Raudabaugh and was married to the late Caroline A. (Lehman) Raudabaugh, who died Oct. 17, 2011.

Wayne attended Boiling Springs High School. He farmed for many years in Cumberland County, retired from PPG Industries, Carlisle after nearly 20 years of service and after his retirement, he worked part-time for 12 years with Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouses in Mechanicsburg. Wayne was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Kingstown.

He is survived by two sons; Daniel W. (and his wife, Patricia) Raudabaugh of Mechanicsburg and Neal R. (and his wife, Pamela) Raudabaugh of Boiling Springs, one daughter, Linda C. (and her husband, Pete) Fair of Carlisle, one brother, Leo Raudabaugh and one sister, Erma Hollingsworth, both of Carlisle, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Vance Raudabaugh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 4 W. Main St., New Kingstown, with Pastor Eric Funk officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 103, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to the Alzheimer's Association 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
