Virginia M. Miller, 92, of Carlisle and formerly of Peoria, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Church of God Home in Carlisle. She was born on Sunday, July 7, 1918, in Deputy, Indiana, a daughter of the late Harry and Julie (Hickey) Sult. Virginia was the widow of William Foster and William Miller.

She is survived by two sons; Eugene L. Miller (and wife, Ruth) of Carlisle and Glenn E. Miller of Boulder, CO, a daughter, JoEllen McCormick (and husband, William) of West Covina, CA, five grandchildren; Cynthia, James, Michael, Ann and Annette and ten great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Eggleston and an infant son, Gerald Foster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 87 Marsh Dr., Carlisle, with Rev. Dwight D. Schlaline officiating. Viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria, IL. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name may be made to Faith Lift Project,Church of God Home, 801 N.
