June Adams, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. She was born on June 27, 1925 in Allen (Monroe Twp.) and was a daughter of the late Albert A. and Laura Mae (Smith) Weigle and was the widow of Robert Adams and Kenneth Chestnut.

June was a devoted homemaker.  She was a life member of VFW Post 8851-Boiling Springs Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son, Richard C. "Rick" Chestnut of Boiling Springs, one daughter, Shari M. Weary of New Oxford, many grand, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  June was preceded in death by two sons; Barry B. and Dennis O. Chestnut and several brothers and sisters.
