Thomas S. Boyer, 67, of Carlisle, died Saturday, October 1, 2011, at his home. He was born on Monday, October 18, 1943, in Carlisle, and was the son of the late Henry S. and Nelda (Hennessey) Boyer.

Tom graduated from Carlisle High School and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He retired after many years of service with the Commonwealth of PA as an accountant with the Bureau of Corporate Taxes.

Surviving are several cousins which include; Patricia A. Fuhrman of Carlisle, Linda Olsen of Laurel, MD, Gary Fisher of York and Ronnie Hennessey of Middletown.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in the Ashland Cemetery, along the York Road in Carlisle, with Rev. Jeff W. Gibelius officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
