Theresa M. Ensminger, 60, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. She was born on Wednesday, May 10, 1950 in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Joseph H. Negley, Jr. and Mary R. (McCalister) Negley.

Theresa was a 1968 graduate of Boiling Springs High School. She formerly worked as an instructor with United Cerebral Palsy of the Capital Area.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley (and her husband, Don "Ducky") Sheetz of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by a sister, Doris J. Thomas and two brothers; Marlin E. Negley and Joseph H. C. Negley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Mary Nedkeff-Rose officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
