Terry L. Rider, 61, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 04, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1954 in Carlisle, and is a son of Aileen (Floyd) Rider of Carlisle and the late Marlin R. Rider.

Terry completed the schooling program and earned his diploma with the former Penn Hurst State School.

In addition to his devoted mother, Terry is survived by two brothers; James W. (wife, Pamela) Rider of Lincoln, NE and Scott R. (wife, Sandy) Rider of Newville, one sister, Ann Marie Dumm of Carlisle, one great-aunt, Evelyn Burgard of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Rev. Charles R. Burgard will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Memorial gifts in Terry's name may be made C.P.A.R.C., 71 Ashland Ave., Carlisle, PA 17013.
