Susan M. Beecher, 62, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at UPMC-Carlisle. She was born on December 29, 1955 in Carlisle and is a daughter of Martha (Schwin) Paulus Fry of Marysville and the late John Paulus.

Susan graduated from West Perry High School. She retired as manager of the food service and bar area for the former Holiday Inn, Carlisle. Susan enjoyed her family and camping.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Paul E. "Eddie" Beecher, Jr., two sons; Phillip E. Paulus of Newport and Robert J. Mentzer, Sr. of Millerstown, two brothers; Gary Paulus of Shermans Dale and John Paulus of Loysville, one sister, Tammy Rodgers of Lebanon, two stepsons: Chris Beecher of St. Thomas, PA and Chad Beecher of Ft. Loudon, PA, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Burial will be private.
