Steven Paul Shenk, age 65, of Camp Hill, crossed over the bridge for the last time on May 6, 2018. Born in 1952 in Carlisle, PA, he was the son of the late Paul J. Shenk of Carlisle. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Shenk of Carlisle and his sister, Karen Shenk (Virginia Hess) of Harrisburg.

Steve was a 1970 graduate of Carlisle High School. He had been employed by the former AMP Incorporated in both Carlisle and Harrisburg for nearly 27 years. In recent years, he had been a delivery driver for DriveKore, Royer's Flowers and Capital Tuxedo.

Steve was a train enthusiast as well as a NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed photographing covered bridges and was a long-time member of the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of Pennsylvania.

Conforming to Steve's request, there will be no services. Burial will be private and will take place at the discretion of the family. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.
