Steven P. Calaman, 64, of Carlisle, died on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, MD. He was born on December 13, 1958, and is a son of Helen (Tomcheck) Calaman of Carlisle and the late Rodney P. Calaman.

Steve was a 1976 graduate of Boiling Springs High School where he played football and baseball. He worked at Penske Logistics for 20 years as a 3 ^rd shift Operations Supervisor. Steve coached girls' softball for Big Spring High School and was very proud of the State Title they won in 2012. He enjoyed Penn State sports, all kinds of auto racing, spending time at the cabin in Lycoming County and most of all making memories with his grandchildren. He loved "every" moment with them.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dawn (Godlove) Calaman, one daughter, Andrea (husband, Ivan) Dugonjic of Carlisle, two brothers, Jeffrey (wife Rachel) Calaman of Dillsburg and Michael Calaman of Carlisle, three grandchildren, Nina Dugonjic, Neven Dugonjic, and Niko Dugonjic all of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Calaman Sweeney.

A viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Mark Sweeney officiating. The burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
