Stephen H. Reed, 59, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his home. He was born April 21, 1956 in Carlisle, and is a son of Mary E. (Richcreek) Reed, with whom he lived and the late Elmer H. Reed.

Stephen attended Cumberland Valley High School and had worked as a roofer for many years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons; Christopher S. Reed and Michael Shaw, two daughters; Jeniffer and Teresa M. Reed both of Carlisle, one sister; Connie K. (Reed) Brown, one brother; Tony A. Reed, five grandchildren including; Zachary A. Miller and Keyara M. Miller and three nieces; April Reed, Heather Jumper and Laura Reed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Wesleyan Church of The Cross, 430 "B" Street, Carlisle, with Rev. Daniel Mikesell officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.
