Obituary

Stanford FRANK Miller 80, beloved resident of Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle, PA was honored with wings on November 4, 2023.  Born on November 7, 1942, to Roy Ellsworth Miller & Mary Evelyn (Wentz) Miller in Baltimore, MD.  He was the widower of the late Margaret (McCommons) Keck Miller.

Lovingly known as Frank, he was a humble, very kind man with a charismatic smile & infectious laugh. He graduated from Kenwood High School in Baltimore in 1960, he was a survivor of the Rosewood Institute where he earned an associate in arts (Religion) and became a Reverend.

Frank was a proud Democrat and Lutheran with St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.  He worked for many years at CIT in Mechanicsburg where he earned many honors, accolades and awards for his work ethics and leadership.  He was blinded by glaucoma, but it never slowed him, he knew time by what was on channel 27 WHTM. I only wish I could tell of the many accomplishments Frank had in his life and how proud his family truly was of him.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Alvin, Richard, and Roy, sisters, Nancy and Brenda. Frank is survived by brothers, David (Bette) of Carlisle, Gary of Parkton, Md and Chuck of Pittsburg, two nephews, Andrew and Eric and two nieces, Valerie and Stacy, one uncle William (late Jean) Burkholder and several cousins.

A viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Newville Rd., Carlisle.  He will be laid to rest beside his mother.  EwingBrothers.com.
