Stanford S. Kingsborough, 72, of Mechanicsburg, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at home. He was born on July 17, 1946 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Rev. Raymond M. Kingsborough and Pearl I. (Wilhelm) Kingsborough.

Stanford graduated in 1964 from the former Perry - Joint High School in Perry County and attended Messiah College for three years. He was a member of the Shepherdstown United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg and retired from the former Moore's Lumber Yard, Mechanicsburg after many years of service. Stanford was a U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by one brother, David L. Kingsborough (and his wife, Betty) of Duncannon; one sister, Fay Shreve (and her husband, George) of Carlisle and other extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 in the Springville Cemetery, West Springville Road, Boiling Springs with Rev. Dr. Dennis L. Otto officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.
