Shirley L. Porter, 65, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home.  She was born on August 12, 1955 in Boiling Springs and was a daughter of the late Jacob W. I. Sweeney and Esther (Smith) Sweeney Santos.

Shirley worked as prep-cook for Shoney's Restaurant, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Roy Rogers and for the Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Stewart H. Porter, Jr., one sister, Stella Gutshall and two grandchildren, Eric and Alex Porter.  She was preceded in death by one son, Brad W. Porter.
