Shirley Ann Crull, 86, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at home with family by her side.  She was born May 19, 1937, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Chester Burd and Sarah (Brenneman) Burd and was the widow of Richard F. Crull who died September 2, 2013.

Shirley was a 1955 graduate of Carlisle High School and retired from P. R. Hoffman in Carlisle after 24 years of service.

She is survived by one son Richard Alan Crull and his wife Kathleen of Mt. Holly Springs, one daughter Crystal Lee Spangenberg and her husband Dale of Frederick, MD, one sister Linda (Barry) Vincent of Carlisle, six grandchildren, Sara Holsinger of Hagerstown, MD, Jennifer (Mark) Stecker of Washington, PA, Andrew (Stephanie) Spangenberg of Frederick, MD, Katie (James) Cheng of Frederick, MD, Elizabeth Battisti of Duncannon and Austin (Whitney) Crull of Lancaster and great-grandchildren, Sean, Gage, Caden, Chase, Matthew, Grace, Kirsten, Logan, Riley, Ellis and Stevie Kate and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley and her family appreciated the skill and compassion of the in-home caregiving team during her final days.
