Shirley May Barrick Armold, 59, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at home. She was a daughter of the late Clair and Reba Enyeart Barrick.

Shirley received her GED from O. I. C. in Carlisle and was formerly employed by The Salvation Army, Carlisle and the former Embers Restaurant and Motel, Carlisle.

Shirley is survived by her husband, David Armold, of Carlisle, her son, Michael Barrick of Carlisle, two daughters; Tara Thompson of Jacksonville, FL and Barbara Marino of Carlisle, three sisters; Marie Smiley of Shermansdale, Barbara Barrick of Ohio, and Steph Barrick, of Carlisle, three brothers; Bradley Barrick of Mechanicsburg and Clair Barrick, Jr. of Carlisle and Joey Barrick of Carlisle, son-in-law, Derrick Marino of Carlisle, daughter-in-law, Victoria Barrick of Carlisle, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Biddle Mission Park, Carlisle. Private burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
