Sharon A. (Negley) Heberlig, 62, of Newville, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at home with family by her side.  She was born on November 29, 1962, in Carlisle and is the daughter of Fay (Gutshall) Negley of Newville and the late Leroy Negley.  Sharon was married for 33 years to the late Michael G. Heberlig who passed away on January 9, 2025.

Sharon graduated in 1980 from Big Spring High School in Newville and earned an associate degree in accounting from Harrisburg Area Community College.  She worked in accounts payable at the former Carlisle Hospital for 30 plus years.  She is a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Newville.  During her high school years, Sharon enjoyed being a member of the 4-H Club.  She enjoyed reading, antiquing with her husband, and travelling with her family, especially to the beach.  She loved the holidays and would decorate every inch of her house.

In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by one daughter Ashley F. (husband Russell) Kulp, Jr. of Newville, one brother William (wife Juanita) Negley of Newville, two grandchildren, Russell Kulp, III and Tessa Kulp and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, 210 Brick Church Rd., Newville with Minister Keith Gutshall.  Burial will be private.  There will be fellowship following the service at the Big Spring United Lutheran Church, 101 Crossroad School Rd., Newville.  Memorial contributions in honor of Sharon may be made to her church.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
