Obituary

"In life we loved you dearly,

In death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place,

No one else will ever fill."

Sharon L. Campbell, formerly of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.  She was best known for her beauty, inside and out, and always having a smile and kind word to share with everyone, be it friend or stranger.  She put up a tough fight against ovarian cancer until the very end.

Sharon was born on December 2, 1961, in Harrisburg, PA to the late Lloyd and Eleanor (Campbell) Roadcap.  She lived in Dauphin, PA for most of her life where she raised her four loving children.  Sharon also extended her love to countless foster children, teenagers from a Navajo reservation through an organization known as Project Sikis, as well as international college students.  Many of her years spent proudly carrying the title "Nene" were spent in Millersburg, PA, and her remaining few years in Carlisle, PA. Sharon also spent the last seventeen years gaining the love and adoration of her many colleagues and clients at Polished Salon, Spa & Wellness Center. She had a knack for all things crafty and artistic, loved thrifting, flipping furniture, and spending time with her ten grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband Mike Tyler of Carlisle, PA, as well as her beloved dog Duke and cat Ella; Her son Joel Campbell Jr. of Hershey, PA, his wife Marie, and their two sons Jackson and Samuel; Daughter Jaclyn Dyer of Millersburg, PA, her husband Damian, and their children Hannah, Isaiah, Olivia, James, and Ezekiel; Son Jeremiah Campbell of Millersburg, PA, his fiance Amanda Witiak, as well as Jeremiah's children Charlotte and Brooks; Daughter Cassandra Campbell of Newtown Square, PA, her husband Daniel Roache, and their daughter Eleanor; Brothers Robert Roadcap, his wife Danita of Reading, PA, and Lloyd Roadcap of Enola, PA; Stepdaughter Tara Brant, her husband Zack, and Stepson Quentin Tyler. She is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Roadcap.
