Semens Cantero, aged 78, of Nett, Pohnpei, The Federated States of Micronesia, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at UPMC Carlisle. Born on May 13, 1946, in The Federated States of Micronesia, he was the son of the late Dionisio Cantero and Clara Rodriguez. Semens was a dedicated heavy equipment operator, contributing to the construction of roads in Pohnpei.

He is survived by many children and relatives, including his daughter Siner Solomon of the Carlisle Barracks. He was predeceased by his father, Dionisio Cantero, and his mother, Clara Rodriguez.

A burial service was held in Pohnpei on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
