Scott F. "Doc" Richards, 61, of Carlisle, died on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at his home. He was born on Dec. 10, 1953, in Mechanicsburg, the son of the late Gordon C. and Anne (Furlan) Richards.

Scott was a 1972 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and also graduated from ITT Technical Schools. Scott enjoyed working on computers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Krystal (Malloy) Richards, two sisters-in-law; Rebecca & Joe Zielinski and Jennifer & Chuck Beidel, both of Carlisle, one brother-in-law, William & Jenn Malloy, Jr. of Carlisle, his father-in-law, William and Michelle Malloy, Sr. of Carlisle, several nieces and nephews; Dottie, Rose, Kaitlyn, Anjelique, Keyshia, Isaiah, Kayden, Topenga, Sophia and Isabella.

A viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015, followed by the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover Str., Carlisle, with Pastor Roger Pond, Sr. officiating. Burial will be private. Donations may be made at gofundme.com/m2on10 .
