Sandra K. Crisp, 72, formerly of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Cumberland Crossing Retirement Community, Carlisle. She was born on May 8, 1943 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Charles Gingrich and Nellie (Stone) (Gingrich) Snyder.

Sandy was a 1961 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, and was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries, both in Shippensburg.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Charles H. Crisp, two daughters; Danielle R. Crisp of Baltimore, MD and Nicole M. Crisp of Carlisle, one brother, Charles R. Gingrich of Mechanicsburg, one sister, Carol D. Teahl of Enola and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by one sister, Margie L. Chubb.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the Cumberland Crossing's Davis Dining Room, 1 Longsdorf Way, Carlisle. Chaplain Judy Strayer will officiate. Interment will be private. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials in Sandra's name may be made to the Cumberland Crossings Benevolent Care Fund, 1 Longsdorf Way, Carlisle, PA 17015.
