Ruth Ann Brandeburg, 74, of Hartwell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at her daughter's home.  She was born on August 11, 1944 in Crestline, OH and was a daughter of the late Vaughn H. and Margaret (Kistler) Williams.  Ruth was the widow of John P. Brandeburg, who passed away on July 18, 2013.

Ruth was a 1962 graduate of Crestline High School.  She worked in Human Resources with the former G. S. Electric Co. in Carlisle and was a realtor for more than 20 years with Century 21.  Ruth formerly attended St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.  She enjoyed gardening and had a special eye for color and design.  She loved spending time with her family and traveling.

She is survived by her children; Eric (wife, Suzanne) McAllister of Hartwell GA, Pam (husband, Taren) Shumaker and Douglas (wife, Christina) Brandeburg, both of Carlisle, one brother, Vaughn H. Williams, Jr. of Toledo, OH, one sister, Judy Jones of DeTour, MI, her grandchildren; Tyler (Chasidy) McAllister, Kaitlin (Gregory) Wall, Garrett (Lydia) Shumaker, Emily (Jarret) Cutsail, Dylan McAllister, Riley Smith and Erin Brandeburg, great-grandchildren; Grayson and Emilynn Wall and Aiden McAllister and several nieces and nephews.  Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Williams.

A service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Westminster Memorial Gardens Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle with Rev.
