Russell A. "Rusty" Brown, 48, of York Springs, died on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Dillsburg. He was born on January 4, 1967 in Camp Hill and is the son of Janet L. Brown of York Springs.

Rusty was a 1986 graduate of Bermudian Springs High School, and was currently employed with Markant Corp. in computer security at the Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg. He formerly worked for the Commonwealth of PA. Rusty enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with his family and motorcycle charity rides. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Meribeth E. (Marpoe) Brown, one son, Ian R. Brown and one daughter, Morgan E. Brown, both at home, one sister, Chris Brown of Lewisberry, his mother-in-law, Janice (Barrick) Marpoe of Newville and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; William E. and Mabel S. Brown and his father-in-law, Gilson E. Marpoe, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle, with Pastors Daniel and Linda Summers officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs. A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
