Roy G. Kennedy, 97, formerly of Mt. Holly Springs, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle. He was born on October 25, 1920 in Leechburg, PA, and was a son of the late George S. and Anna M. (Swank) Kennedy.

Roy graduated from New Kensington High School in 1939. Hewas a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was the recipient of one Battle Star. Roy retired in 1982 from PPG Industries, Carlisle after 31 years of service. He was a member of theMt. Holly Springs American Legion.

Roy's remains were laid to rest with full military honors on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the Indiantown GapNational Cemetery, Annville. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle,was in charge of the arrangements. www.Since1853.com.
