Rosella E. "Rosie" Henry, 97, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Church of God Home in Carlisle.  She was born on October 12, 1925, in Carlisle and was a daughter of the late Elmer and Bessie (Elicker) Hinkel and the widow of Frank J. Henry who died May 24, 2015.

Rosie graduated from Boiling Springs High School with the class of 1943.  She was a devoted homemaker and retired from The Bon-Ton in Carlisle with many years.  Rosie was a longtime member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by her children, Steven M. (Wendy) Henry, Deborah K. (Robert) Stought, Robert J. (Deb Lias) Henry and Gregory S. Henry, all of Carlisle, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one sister Ethel Dunbar.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Titus Clarke as the officiant.  Private burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W.
