Rosanna G. Jones, 88, of Carlisle passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.  She was born on February 23, 1935, in Dickinson Twp., Cumberland County and was the daughter of the late Melvin Hockley and Goldie Mae (Richwine) Hockley.  She was the widow of the late Rev. Harold G. Jones.

Rosanna retired from the Kinney Shoe Corporation which later became Foot Locker after many years of service.

Rosanna is survived by one daughter Shirley A. Green of Deptford, NJ, one granddaughter, Rebecca Green of San Antonio, TX, and one sister, Jean Hess of Gardeners. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her son Robert L. Jones, her brother Melvin Hockley, and her sister Ethel Burkholder.

A viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. noon on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S.
