Ronald L. Caufman, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center, Enola.  He was born on December 20, 1941, in Dickinson Twp., Cumberland County and was a son of the late John W. Caufman and Sarah (Thompson) Caufman.

Ron retired from Carlisle Cement Products in Carlisle where he was a truck driver for 20 years.  Ron enjoyed spending time with his dog Carmel, watching westerns, and old game shows.

He is survived by one son Ronald Caufman, Jr. of Boiling Springs, two daughters, Penny L. (Gary) Deates of Newville and Robin A. Varner of New Bloomfield, two stepsons, Randy Negley of Boiling Springs and Dan Negley of Loysville, three brothers, Earl Caufman, Dave Caufman and John Caufman, Jr., six sisters, MaryAnn Martin, Madelyn Hill, Gaylea Kelly, Nancy Roof, Linda Jumper and Susan Morda, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Ron was preceded in death by one daughter Candy Lynn Caufman and one stepson Rick Negley.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  Burial will be private.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
