Romayne E. (DeLancey) Kelly, 94, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Carlisle. She was born on March 1, 1921 in Camp Hill, a daughter of the late James A. and Mary M. (Laughman) DeLancey. Romayne was married for 55 years to the late Sgt. Maj. (Ret) Clarence E. Kelly, USMC, who died August 5, 2001.

Romayne graduated from Carlisle High School and the former Carlisle Commercial College. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Romayne was of Methodist faith.

She is survived by one son, Michael (wife, Jane) Kelly of Gastonia, NC, two granddaughters; Sarah Kelly-DeVoes (husband, Ben) and Ellen Kelly-Bryan (husband, Jason), two great-grandchildren; Levi Kelly and Eve Bryan, sister-in-law, Betty Bush, niece, Barbara DeLancey and nephew, William DeLancey, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and their children in the extended families. Romayne was predeceased by sister, Valda M. Sours and brother, James A. DeLancey, II.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerville Memorial Park, Newville, with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
