Roland E. Cote, 79, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at home.  He was born on March 11, 1944, in Leominster, Mass. and was a son of the late Roland E. Cote, Sr. and Elizabeth (Davidian) Cote.

Roland had worked at C. H. Masland & Sons in Carlisle and retired from Ross Distribution Center where he worked as a security guard.  He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle.  Roland was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his fiancé Linda L. Peck, two daughters, Laura Cote Aikens and her husband James Aikens and Kim Cote both of Meridianville, AL, one sister Carol Kiley of Worcester, MA and four grandchildren, James Aikens, Jr., Dominique Aikens, Caitlyn Aikens and Jacob Bengrazi.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Father Dozy as the officiant.  Private interment will be in Buffalo Cemetery, Ickesburg.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
