Roger E. Failor, 59, of Carlisle, died on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 13, 1955 in Carlisle, the son of the late Parker E. and Doris J. (North) Failor, and was married to the late Julie S. Phillips-Failor, who died May 9, 2012.

Roger was a self-employed mechanic all of his life with Failor's Salvage Yard & Towing, Carlisle. He attended Carlisle Church of God. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two step-children; Michael and April Phillips, both of Carlisle, two step-grandchildren; Calvin LaCroix and Ivy Sheaffer, four sisters; Barbara Binner and Donna Baum, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, Nancy (husband, Donald) Thomas of Newville and Patricia Thornton of Carlisle and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Pastor Dean Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow the services at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
