Robert M. Wickard, 95, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at his home.  He was born on September 3, 1929, in Carlisle and was a son of the late Jacob Ellsworth Wickard and Marie (Deitch) Wickard.

Bob was a long-time farmer in North Middleton Twp. and owned and operated his own seed cleaning business.  Bob also conducted an annual farm consignment sale for 50 years.  He was a member of North Middleton First Church of God, Carlisle.  He enjoyed working and taking care of his family and the farm.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Lois V. (Gayman) Wickard, their children, Dean (Pat) Wickard, Diane (John) Anderson, Kenneth (Brenda) Wickard, Gina (Scott) Lebo and Kevin (Rose) Wickard, all of Carlisle, one brother Paul David Wickard, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Bob was preceded in death by one brother Vernon Wickard and two sisters, Dorothy Quigley Handshew and Evelyn Snader.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Randy Zook and Rev.
