Robert L. "Bob" Welsh, 89, of Carlisle, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He was born on October 23, 1931 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Louis R. and Dora G. (Duncan) Welsh.

Bob served 3 years in the PA National Guard.  He was employed by the former Federal Equipment Company in Carlisle, was the owner of the Robert L. Welsh Construction Company for more than 20 years and retired from the S & H Trucking as a truck driver.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Mildred L. (Vaughn) Welsh, two daughters, Barbara A. Malloy of Funkstown, MD, and Karen L. (husband George) Knoll of Mechanicsburg, one sister Nancy Varner of Illinois, three grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ronald E. Malloy, seven brothers and six sisters.

Bob's family will receive friends at the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.  Private graveside services will be held at Cumberland Valley Gardens, Carlisle. www.Since1853.com
