Robert E. Neal, Jr., 65, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1949 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late Robert E. Neal, Sr. and Ida Mae (Johnson) Neal. He was married to the late Audrey C. "Peachie" (Kuhn) Neal, who died August 30, 2014.

Bob most recently had worked at Traini Shoe Repair in Carlisle. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 262, Biglerville and the former Cumberland-Goodwill Fire Co. Bob enjoyed working on cars most of his life, from general repairs to body work. He also enjoyed "going for coffee" and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons; Eric E. Neal and Scot L. (Meghan) Neal, both of Carlisle, one brother, Raymond Neal of Newville, one sister, Patricia Baumgardt of Carlisle, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Pastor Dale Barrick will officiate. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
