Robert W. Failor, Jr., 76, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at home with family by his side. He was born on July 31, 1949, in Harrisburg and was a son of the late Robert W. Failor, Sr. and Shirley L. (Foster) Failor.

Bob attended Big Spring High School. His employment history includes Erie Frequency Control, C. H. Masland, Leroy Roofing Co and Stone House Auto Sales. He worked with his dad as a mechanic at Failor's Salvage Yard for 27 years. Bob also held his PA inspection and emission license for several years. He attended Mt. Rock United Methodist Church, Newville.  Bob was a devoted family man who traveled the United States extensively in an RV with his wife and daughters and went on countless cruises which included two to Alaska, one to Hawaii and a Mexican Riveria cruise.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Kaye N. (Dewalt) Failor, two daughters, Angela K. (Michael) Black and Amy M. (Tom) Black, both of Shippensburg, four brothers, Ross Failor, Garry Failor, Steven Failor and Vincent Failor, two sisters, Darla Frye and Gwen Hippensteel, four granddaughters, Michaela Black, Maria Black, Marissa Black and Cheyenne Black, one great-grandson, Jayce Perry and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Pastor Resa Schrack officiating. The burial will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
