Robert C. Line, 78, of Newville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his home with family by his side. He was born on February 3, 1940 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Roscoe P. and M. Arvilla (Moose) Line.

Bob was a 1957 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and served in the PA National Guard from 1957 to 1964. He was employed by AMP Inc. and retired after 35 years of service. After retiring, Bob worked part-time delivering for Fisher Auto Parts, Newville.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patsy L. (Greegor) Line, children; Pamela (John) Failor, Jeffrey (Brenda) Line and daughter-in-law, Vickie Line, all of Newville, one brother, Donald (Nancy) Line of Mt. Holly Springs, one sister, Patricia (Bob) Gilbert of Newville, grandchildren; Jeffrey Feuchtenberger, Sarah (Michael) Ireland, Dakota (Marianne Babcock) Line and Connor (Emily) Line, great-grandsons; Brayden Ireland and Baby Line expected October 2018 and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by one son, Todd E. Line, who passed away on Aug. 6, 2003.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. Private graveside services will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville.
