Richard A. Lindsey, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at UPMC Carlisle.  He was born on March 1, 1942, in Harrisburg and was a son of the late Albert Lindsey and Claire (Freeburn) Lindsey.

Richard graduated from Boiling Springs High School with the Class of 1960.  He worked as a sales representative for health and beauty aids for many years.  He formerly attended Middlesex United Methodist Church, Carlisle.  Richard enjoyed golfing and playing cards.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years Patricia M. (Shultz) Lindsey, one daughter Bonnie Godson of Seattle, WA, one son Christopher (wife Kim Hill) Lindsey of Charlotte, NC, one brother John Lindsey of Harrisburg, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one sister Carole Kuhn.

A viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev.
