Rebecca W. Ritter, 91, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Thornwald Home in Carlisle.  She was born on May 7, 1933, in Harrisburg and was a daughter of the late Anthony Wasson and Corrine (Walburn) Wasson and the widow of Arthur E. Ritter who passed in 2004.

Rebecca graduated from John Harris High School with the class of 1951 and then graduated from the former Harrisburg School of Nursing.  She retired after many years with C. H. Masland & Son, Carlisle where she was the Registered Nurse.  Rebecca was of the Methodist faith.  She enjoyed watching television, Penn State Football and bird watching.

She is survived by one son Geary (wife Lorrie) Ritter of Portland, ME, one daughter Becky (husband Joseph) Bowling of Carlisle, one brother Samuel Wasson of Douglasville, two grandsons, Joshua Ritter and Tristan Rovito and many nieces and nephews.  Rebecca was preceded in death by one brother Thomas Wasson and one sister Patricia Wasson.
