Rev. Raymond M. Kingsborough, 96, of Carlisle, died on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 5, 1922 in Carlisle (Craigheads) and was a son of the late Leroy B. Effie M. (Bradey) Kingsborough. He was married to the late Pearl I. (Wilhelm) Kingsborough who died on November 4, 2006.

He and his late wife served the United Methodist Church for many years. Rev. Kingsborough served many churches which consisted of the Manchester, Md. charge and included Miller's, Bixler's and Mt. Zion United Methodist churches; the New Bloomfield charge, which included Trinity, Dellville and Synder's United Methodist churches; the Thurmont, Md. charge which included Weller's and Deerfield United Methodist churches; the Pikeside, W.Va. charge which included Pikeside United Methodist Church and the Darlington, Md. charge, which included Darlington and Rock Run United Methodist churches. Rev. Kingsborough was currently a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Carlisle. He graduated from the Messiah Academy in Grantham.

He is survived by two sons; Stanford S. Kingsborough of Mechanicsburg and David L. Kingsborough (and his wife, Betty) of Duncannon; one daughter, Fay Shreve (and her husband, George) of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Yolanda Garlinger of Wormleysburg and David R. Kingsborough of Duncannon and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Matthew D. Plant officiating. Burial will be in Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
