Preston A. "Bud" Troupe, 84, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at home.  He was born on November 13, 1934 in Leitersburg, MD and was a son of the late Clayton Z. Troupe and Katherine P. (Carl) Troupe.

Bud graduated in 1952 from Smithsburg High School in Maryland.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He retired in 1994 from the former Sprint Telephone Co., Carlisle with 39 years of service.  He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Carlisle and the Cumberland Valley Classic Car Club.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Janet (McGlaughlin) Troupe, three sons; Dennis W. (Judy) Troupe of Arizona City, AZ, Rodger (Sue Snyder) Troupe of York and Terry R. (Sarita) Troupe of Greater Noida, India, three granddaughters; Angela, Heather and Sarah and three great-granddaughters; Te'a, Audi and Bella.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert and one sister, Charlotte.

A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev.
