Phyllis B. Webber, 87, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Thorwald Home in Carlisle.  She was born on July 26, 1937, in Oakville, Cumberland County and was a daughter of the late Emerson and Elizabeth (Morrison) Varner and the widow of Robert P. Webber who died May 24, 2010.

Phyllis was a 1955 graduate of Newville High School.  She was a loving homemaker for her family and member of West Hill United Methodist Church, Carlisle.

She is survived by one son Edward (wife Linda) Webber of Newville, one daughter Terry (husband Patrick) Walker of Carlisle, two sisters, Darlene Sample of Duncannon and Sharon Clouser of Mechanicsburg, one sister-in-law Joann Varner, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Phyllis was preceded in death by one brother Ray Varner and two sisters, Helen Black and Joann Tritt.

A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Newville First Church of God, 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville, PA, 17241, with Rev. Richard Reese officiating.  The burial will be in Newville Cemetery.  Fellowship will follow the burial at the Newville First Church of God.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Hill United Methodist Church, C/O Mark Heishman, 399 Pinedale Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
