Phillip L. Rasmussen, 66, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Carlisle Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on August 20, 1957, in Carlisle and is the son of Jacqueline M. (Darhower) Rasmussen of Carlisle and the late Henry V. Rasmussen.

Phil was a 1976 graduate of Carlisle High School.  He worked for more than 25 years as a heavy equipment operator with the City of Houston in Texas.  Phil enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, his Dodge Charger and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son James Rasmussen of Carlisle and one sister Terre R. Sarach of Mt. Holly Springs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle.  A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.  The burial will be private.  www.EwingBrothers.com.
