Peggy A. Wilson, 71, of Duncannon, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her home.  She was born on Nov. 5, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio and was a daughter of the late John (Jack) and Margaret "Peggy" (Allen) Szczypta and was the widow of Ben A. Wilson who passed away on Aug. 8, 2002.

Peggy formerly held various positions with several employers in her lifetime and was a devoted homemaker.  In her free time, she enjoyed sitting on the front porch and greeting passersby.  But more than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by all her friends and family.

She is survived by one son, Chad Rhoades of Shermans Dale, one daughter, Chontel Jarmuzek (and husband Chris) with whom she lived, two step-daughters, Tracy Mock (and husband Wes) of Jamescreek, and Heather Wilson of Altoona, two brothers, Jack Szczypta (and wife, Shirley) of Shippensburg, and Bob Szczypta (and wife Shirl) of South Port, NC, one half-sister, Margie Smith (and husband Bert) of Panama City, FL, two half-brothers, Bert Davis of Hemet, CA and Billy Davis of Harrisburg, her grandchildren, Daimon, Micheala, Delaney, Christopher Jr., Jackie, Chandra, Darien, and one great-grandson, Bentley.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki L. Miller of Newville, PA.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements.  www.Since1853.com.
