Pauline L. Lupfer, 91, of Shermans Dale and beloved wife of Charles E. Lupfer, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at her home with family by her side.  She was born on April 20, 1931, in New Bloomfield and was a daughter of the late Luther Frownfelter and Hazel (Warner) Frownfelter.

Polly graduated from New Bloomfield High School in 1949 and then graduated from the Harrisburg Business School.  She worked for the Commonwealth of PA for several years as a secretary.  She and her husband owned and operated the Creek View Farms M. H. P. in Shermans Dale for many years.  Pauline was an excellent typist and continued to do the bookwork up until she was 88 years of age.  She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and playing the organ.  She was a member of Shermans Dale United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Charles E. Lupfer, two sons, Allen (wife Kim) Lupfer and Tim (wife Michele) Lupfer, both of Shermans Dale, three grandchildren, Ali (husband Shane) Staley, Scott (wife Lisa) Lupfer and Mike (wife Rebecca) Lupfer, two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Derek Morrison, daughter-in-law Darla Lupfer, eight great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one son Dennis E. Lupfer, one brother Clair Frownfelter, one sister Beatrice Weller and one step-grandson Brandon Morrison.

A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Shermans Dale United Methodist Church, 50 Windy Hill Rd., Shermans Dale, PA 17090 with Pastor Scott Ryan officiating.  Burial will be in Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.  A time of fellowship will follow the burial at the Shermans Dale Ambulance Association.  Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements. www.Since1853.com .
