Pauline E. Kurowski, 92, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013,at Providence Place Retirement Community of Chambersburg. She was born on Friday, February 13, 1920, in Stamford, CT, a daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette (Mackowski) Deptuch. She wasalso predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Stanley F. Kurowski, who died April 15, 2002 and one son, Stanley M. Kurowski.

Pauline graduated from Holy Name of Jesus High School in Stamford, CT. She retired after many years of servicewith thePA Department of Labor & Industry, Harrisburg. Pauline formerly attended St. Patrick CatholicChurch, Carlisle.

She is survived by two sons; Robert Kurowski of Carlisle and Philip Kurowski of New York, NY.

A viewing will be held from 6 - 7:30p.m.on Thursday, January 24, 2013, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. AMass of Christian Burial and interment will be held in Stamford, CT next week. The Bosak Funeral Home will be in charge of services in Stamford.
