Pauline M. (Lepperd) Espenshade, 86, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 in Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on August 12, 1931 in Campbelltown and was a daughter of the late John J. and Mary E. (Shenk) Lepperd. She was the widow of Glenn R. Espenshade who passed away on April 9, 2004.

Pauline graduated in 1949 from Hershey High School. She retired after 24 years of service with the former Reeves-Hoffman Inc., Carlisle. Pauline was a member of Carlisle United Methodist Church, Cumberland/Carlisle AARP, Hershey Derry Twp. Historical Society and assisted with selling chicken barbeque tickets for the Carlisle Lions Club. Pauline was a self-taught artist and loved to draw, paint, read, sew, do crafts, word searches and spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters; Deborah A. (Roger) Misiaszek of Berlin, CT, Judy K. (Troy) Koller of Stewartstown, Vickie L. Heishman of Carlisle, 5 grandchildren; Chad & Erica Moyer, Danielle & Sean Heishman and Scott Misiaszek, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Elva Williams and Doris Brinser and one son-in-law, Michael L. Heishman who passed away on April 24, 2017.

A viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 followed by funeral services at 3:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev.
