Paulette C. Statler, 79, of Carlisle, wife of 60 years to Ronald E. Statler, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was born on March 24, 1944, in Newville and was the daughter of the late Paul W. Barrick and Gladys C. (Darr) Barrick.

Paulette graduated from Big Spring High School in 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper with Kinney Shoe Corporation and retired from Schaeffer Trucking, Carlisle.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gregory E. Statler of Carlisle, and Christopher L. (wife Lora) Statler of Gaithersburg, MD, three grandchildren, Nicholas Statler, Chloie Statler and Waylon Statler and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Wayne Barrick.

Burial will be held at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Highway, Carlisle on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is handling the arrangements.
