Paul H. Failor, 84, of Newville, died on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 13, 1930, in Newville, a son of the late John R. and Mabel G. (Heckman) Failor.

Paul owned and operated his own farm in the Newville area for many years. He formerly attended the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Plainfield. Paul was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Anna G. (Biesecker) Failor, two sisters; Virginia Wevodau and Betty Lease, both of Mechanicsburg, many nieces, nephews and his beloved cat, Angel. Paul was predeceased by an infant son, five brothers and seven sisters, which included his twin sister, Pauline Miller, who died Dec. 1, 2012.

A visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover Str., Carlisle. Rev. Myrtle E. McCall will officiate. Interment will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Memorials may be made to Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Simpson Str., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
