Paul D. Clevenger, 84, of Carlisle, died on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1931 in Carlisle, and was a son of the late John E. and Iva M. (Davidson) Clevenger.

Paul graduated from Big Spring High School, Newville and earned a Bachelors in Education from Shippensburg University. He retired from Carlisle Syntec Corp after 20 years of service. Paul also farmed the family farm for 30 years in Cumberland County.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Myrtle V. (Miller) Clevenger, three sons; Ronald Clevenger of Stafford, VA and Larry and Jeffrey Clevenger, both of Carlisle, one sister, Jane Gutshall of Newville, one grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Doubling Gap Church of God Cemetery, Newville.
