Patti L. Hoover, 63, of Carlisle, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at her home.  She was born on February 5, 1959, in Carlisle and is a daughter of Betty (Jones) Armolt of Carlisle and the late James B. Armolt.

Patti graduated from Big Spring High School in 1977.  She had worked for several companies in the local area including, Weis Pharmacy, Walmart, Giant Foods, and 13 years with Coventry Health in Harrisburg.  Patti also did baby sitting in her home for many years.  She was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church, Carlisle.  Patti was an ordained minister.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Garry E. Hoover, two sons, Jeremy E. Hoover, and Jamie L. (wife Sarah) Hoover, all of Carlisle, one daughter Jennifer S. (husband David) Myers of Gardners, three sisters, Sharon (husband Rev. Glenn) Yohn, Vickie (husband Jay) Wickard and Connie (husband Earl) Yohn, all of Carlisle, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Patti was preceded in death by one son Johnathan E. Hoover and one granddaughter Cassidy Myers.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, with Rev. Glenn Yohn officiating.  Burial will follow at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.  Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Victory Tabernacle Church, 472 E.
