IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patsy
Line
August 30, 1942 – November 11, 2025
Patsy Line, 83, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 11, 2025, surrounded by family at Sarah Todd Memorial Home. She was born on August 30, 1942, in Newville and was the daughter of the late John S. Greegor and Dorothy M. (Miller) Greegor,
Patsy grew up in Newville, where she was often seen running—or even cartwheeling—between her family's grocery store on Big Spring Avenue and their restaurant, Dot & John's, on High Street. Throughout her life, Pat held a variety of roles, including store clerk, waitress, bookkeeper, delivering groceries, antique dealer, and caregiver to many loved ones. She retired from the Oak Flat Elementary School lunchroom, a job she truly enjoyed. As the matriarch of her family, Pat found her greatest happiness in gathering her loved ones together, usually with a homemade meal and a lot of laughter.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Line Failor and Jeffrey R. (Brenda) Line; daughter-in-law Vickie Line; grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Ireland, Dakota (Marianne) Line, Connor (Emily) Line, and Jeffrey Feuchtenberger and great-grandchildren Brayden Ireland, James Line, Cassidy Line, and Eleanor Line. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Line, her son, Todd E. Line and her son-in-law John L. Failor.
A viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, followed by a short tribute to Patsy at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St, Carlisle. The burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sarah Todd Memorial Home, 1000 W South St, Carlisle, PA 17013.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sarah Todd for their compassionate care over the years.
